HEWITT, Lloyd W. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lloyd Walter Hewitt of DeBary, Florida, age 58, died Friday, August 14, in the Veteran Administration Medical Center at Gainesville, Florida. He was born at Georgetown, Illinois, March 2, 1923, the son of James Walter and Estella I. Hewitt. July 26, 1967, he married Stella Harriett Bounds, who survives. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at DeBary and had been employed as a truck driver most of his life.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Christine Boswell and Penny Hewitt, both of Houma, Louisiana; two sons, Ronald of Houma and Paul of Danville, Illinois; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Angela Tarquini of Covington; two stepsons, Stephen Bounds of Cayuga and Mark Bounds of Danville; a sister, Frieda Hale of Sidell, Illinois; five grandchildren and four step grandchildren.   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Steve Stanley officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Mount Cemetery at Georgetown, Illinois. --Thanks to S
